Sean recently joined multi-talented New York City-based photographer / cinematographer Chris Vongsawat (sans script and crew) for a chilly evening of filming in New York City’s Chinatown. The 18 degree weather was no match for Chris and his camera, as he emerged from our Chinatown adventure with some astonishing night time footage and a very touching short film. Using only ambient light.
Chris recently received an Honorable Mention in the 2011 Hearst 8 x 10 Photography Biennial for his work entitled “Convoy in the Storm.” Chris began his career in photography as a combat photographer in Afghanistan, where he spent a year as a military mentor and adviser to the Afghan military.
