Terrific news from – and huge congrats to – Johnny North and Thom Woodley: their latest television endeavor, POWERLESS, has been named an Official Selection at the 2011 New York Television Festival! A brand new original drama from the director (Johnny) and creator (Thom) of the hit show “The Burg“, (and winners of the 2010 IFC ‘Out of the Box’ Award for “Greg and Donny,” currently on IFC’s Development Slate), POWERLESS “tells the story of three hikers (Kelli Giddish (NBC’s “Chase”) Joachim Boyle, Sean Hudock) who stray from the Appalachian Trail and discover that electrical power has gone out indefinitely all over the world.” POWERLESS also stars Richard B. Watson.
