I’m extremely excited to be returning to The Shakespeare Theatre of New Jersey for my sixth season this summer to play Dromio of Ephesus in Shakespeare’s epic farce THE COMEDY OF ERRORS – and so psyched to be working with such a terrific cast: Phillip Christian, Amanda Duffy, Eileen Glenn, Allison Layman, Jay Leibowitz, Rocio Mendez, Jack Moran, Phil Mutz, Matthew Simpson and Matt Bradford Sullivan, with the amazing Denise Cardarelli stage managing. And to top it off, I’m thrilled to have the opportunity to work with brilliant director Jason King Jones for a second time. All the while joining the celebration of the 50th Anniversary of an extraordinary company and an artistic powerhouse that continues to thrive even in the toughest of times, while remaining true to its mission of presenting classical works and educating young artists and audiences both young and old. This is all a testament to the remarkable and tireless work of Artistic Director Bonnie Monte and the multi-talented artistic and administrative staff at The Shakespeare Theatre, one of the leading Shakespeare theatres in the nation. Audiences and artists alike are so lucky to have The Shakespeare Theatre of New Jersey mining the human condition, rocking the Bard’s cannon and other classics, and I am so deeply grateful for the priceless wealth of experiences, opportunities and educations that I’ve been afforded in my time at STNJ. Happy 50th! And here’s to many more decades of cosmic classical creations to come!
